Moving Has Overtaken Our Lives

I'm being a bit dramatic. Since I am really tired from the busy weekend and lack creativity, I'll just bombard you viewers with ridiculously adorable photos of Max. (I'm not modest about my son at all, I think he's beautiful.)

Max Wears Many Hats

He is a super hero... "Captain Adorable".
He is a muscle man...check out his six pack.
He is a lover...he gives the best kisses. He is a well-mannered individual...he politely crosses his hands while he sits.He is just absolutely adorable...look at the little guy.

Cupie Doll

Grandma Cindy said the previous pictures I posted of Max reminded her of a Cupie Doll. I had to google an image to see what she was referring to. It made me laugh. Very good observation.

Mohawk

More like nohawk. During his bath, I tried to give Max a mohawk out of the few hairs he has on his head. He does not look too excited about the doo.

Big Head

Big all over is more like it. We bought this cute hat for Max when he was about a month old. In his first picture, I am holding it so it does not cover his eyes.

It fits like a top hat now.

V-dog wanted his picture taken wearing it too.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch?

English translation: Do you speak German?

Although Max does not speak German (he doesn't speak at all for that matter), he did embrace his German heritage by attending Lake Arrowhead's annual Oktoberfest this weekend. He cheered mom on as she participated in the stein holding competition. I regretfully mention I did not win, but I did get a complimentary beaded necklace that Max is wearing.

The Simple Things

It is the simple things in life that entertain Max. He does not have to worry about a job, bills, gas prices, what to cook for dinner, or all the escrow papers we have to sign. He just likes to sit back and enjoy the day. And I appreciate that about him! Here are a few things that make the little guy tick.

Staring at a glow worm while sucking on a pacifier.

Taking a nap while sucking on a pacifier (barely).

Sitting in a vibrating chair that sings. (He is so big I have to use a pillow for a foot rest)

Watching baby Einstein with V-dog

And of course, taking a bath. Look at those man boobs.

Hard Work

Despite a daily routine of eating whenever you want, frequently napping, and having someone change your diapers, being 10 weeks old is tough at times. Especially when you exert a lot of energy and only move an inch. Take it from Max...this is hard work. (However, he is doing a great job at holding his head up)

Old Man

I find that boy babies look like little old men. Here is Max sporting the balding hairdo and old man sweatpant outfit. He can't help the hair and mom is responsible for dressing him. I think he pulls both looks off very nicely.

Good Genes Run in the Family

Isn't Max's cousin Charli beautiful? We can't wait for the two little ones to meet each other.

Another Buscaglia is on the Way!

No, we are not having another baby. Did I fool anyone? The new Buscaglia is going to be me. Chris proposed and gave me the most beautiful ring. Pictures do not do it justice. We are so excited! Now I am on a mission to stop biting my nails :)

Weekend Top Five

Our lives are extremely exciting and I could be writing for days (I say this with some sarcasm). So, for all our sakes, I decided to share the top 5 moments from the weekend with you.

5. V-dog got a new baby. Poor bird is missing a foot thanks to Vesuvius.
4. Chris made me breakfast Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, he made the world's largest pancake. Today we had waffles. I am so spoiled!
3. The Bills won (wish I could say the same for the Chargers). The adorable outfit is from Aunt Jenny.

2. We went for a short hike today in Forest Falls. The weather was great! Thanks to aunt Lizzie for buying Max the wonderful baby carrier.

1. We were able to take some time and relax as a family. Here is Max watching football and taking a nap.

Lots of great stuff!

I finally captured some baby chatter on film. Max is also learning to laugh. As you can see in the first part of the video, he often startles himself with the noises he makes.

Here are a few new photos of Max. The blanket he is wrapped in was mine when I was a little girl. I was real creative with the naming. I called it red blankie. I also had a yellow one. Can you guess the name? Yes, you are right...yellow blankie.

It is amazing to see how many little boy clothes have some reference to a dog.

I'm in control at grandma's house.

Tuesday's = tacos and 90210

Here are a few photos of Max from today. I just can't get enought of him! We love him so much.
