"Da da"

Max has a new trick. He started saying "Da da." We don't think he quite understands that Chris is "Da da," but he loves saying it and gets really happy when we say it too.

New Bath Seat

Max has grown out of his first tub, so we started giving him showers. He likes showers, but they are not quite as fun as splashing around in a tub. Thanks to grandma Kelly, Max has been able to enjoy the tub in his new bath seat.

Dog Beach

The weather in California has been BEAUTIFUL. It has been so warm, we decided to go to dog beach in San Diego. Vesuvius had a blast, Max felt sand and the water for the first time, and Mom and Dad had fun watching it all.

Most precious picture everPoor guy screamed when he felt the water. It was really cold.This may have been right after he tried to make a great dane "his girlfriend." Too bad the great dane was twice his size and a boy. Salty dog.

It must have been in the high 70's yesterday; the weather was beautiful. Here is Max enjoying this great day playing in his walker.

Max, You Are Amazing

This past week you...

• Started clapping your hands. All we have to do is say, "Clap your hands Max," and you do it. We are so impressed.
• Went in a car wash for the first time. You looked a little worried.
• Drank form a sippy cup. You did not seem to interested in it.
• Weighed in at 19 lbs 10 ozs.
• Got a flu shot. (Not sure if you had a reaction, but you threw up a few times tonight. Poor guy!)

Good Morning

Such a morning person... We usually find Max with a smile on his face, unless there is a surprise in his diaper. (I think I would cry too. ) Lately, he manages to move all around the crib. Sometimes a few limbs are hanging out the side.

Big Boy Swing

Now that Max is 6 months old (as of yesterday), we decided to try the bucket swing at the park. He had a really good time; so did mommy and daddy.

Little Red Riding Dog

The talented grandma Cindy made V-Dog this great doggy vest/sweater. I think he looks like little red riding hood. He is a pretty good model.
