Comparison

After I posted the last pictures, I decided to pull out this old one of Max. They are so cute!

Visitors

The boys have been so lucky to have so many recent visitors shower them with love and attention. Great grandma and grandpa Mitchell, great grandma Patsie, and grandma Cindy have all been over recently. And even better, we are going to Buffalo in November! Here are a few recent pictures.

They are starting to look like brothers. Both have BIG cheeks.

Growing up so fast

The boys are growing up so fast right before our eyes... Who would have thought facial hair at 2 and 16 months. Well, with a father like Chris, they are likely to be hairy.

Just Another Wednesday

Yesterday, Max, Sammy, my mom, and I headed down to San Diego for the day and spent some quality time with family.

I think all of us kids have climbed this tree. Most of our initials are carved in it as well.
Almost captured a smile.

Pumpkin Patch

Sunday was the perfect day to visit the pumpkin patch with our little pumpkins. Looking snazzy in their Halloween shirts, the Buscaglia boys went in the petting zoo, picked pumpkins, and rode a train. Who am I kidding, only Max participated. Sam slept most of the time. The life of a 7.5 week old baby. I, like most of the other moms there, tried to pose my children for the perfect pumpkin patch picture--I wasn't very successful. Chris and I were cracking up at some of the parents laying their young babies in hay trying to get the perfect shot.

More concerned with pumpkins than taking a picture with Sam.

Which one does Max want?
This one. He's been carrying it all around the house since Sunday. He likes chewing on the stem :)

Dear Max,

The teeth you are using to eat chicken nuggets in this picture are sharp! Sammy would appreciate it if you didn't use them on his hand. Thanks buddy!

La La La La Elmo's World

If any of you Blog viewers (all 10 of you :) watch Sesame Street, you know the song I am talking about. When Elmo's World comes on, Max goes crazy. So, how could we say no when his precious little eyes lit up at Target. (Actually mommy said "I don't think these are in our budget," but daddy couldn't resist. After seeing Max walk around the kitchen while staring at his feet, I think they were a great purchase.)

Just noticed he has a noochie in his mouth and one in his hand. I guess you can't have too much of a good thing.

Sam Smiling

I've been trying to capture photos of Sam smiling for over a week. He does this funny thing where he curls up one side of his lip and squints one eye. He is precious and quite the mama's boy. We love him so much.

Halloween Creation

I am in the mood to decorate! This weekend, we got a cute scarecrow for the front yard, spider webs for the front door, and decorations for Max's room. I also made the following block letters to display on the mantle. I'm no Martha Stewart, but I thought they turned out pretty good.

Sunday Funday

Our family is always looking for fun stuff to do on the weekend. Especially if it is affordable! On Sunday we headed south to San Diego for the Miramar Airshow. Chris was so giddy (he loves planes). The ride down he kept plane name dropping all the ones that would be there. I knew of the Blue Angels and that's it. We had a great time and Max was actually able to spot the planes in the air. The parking was free and so was the event. We opted to bring our own blankets and chairs rather than buying grandstand tickets. We just paid for gas and the fish taco stop on the way down :) Great day!

Max listening to the band.

This plane was huge. I'd ask Chris the name of it but he is asleep on the couch :)
Daddy and Max watching the planes.
Sam enjoyed the day. I was jealous. I could really use a nap!
Being a cheese ball. The strawberry on the head was from the night before. Little man did a face plant on the concrete.

Thank you Sam

for giving mom a break and drinking a bottle. Mommy and her "you know whats" appreciate it. You rock!
