Gymnastics

Today was Max's second gymnastics class with my MOMS club. He was terrified the first time. I don't blame him; the gym is huge and somewhat overwhelming. Today he really enjoyed himself and was exhausted afterwards. Which resulted in a nap for all of us (minus Daddy of course)!

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life.

Great song to describe Max; however, we'll just call him dancing King instead of dancing Queen.

A few Saturdays ago, we took the boys to the Orange County Great Park and family expo. A three-person kids group was performing all sorts of fun kid songs. You know, songs about peanut butter and jelly, loving your momma, etc. After a few minutes of scoping out the venue, Max was in his element. He even started crawling onstage.

Jet Setters

The boys are really racking up their frequent flyer miles-- especially after our recent trip to Buffalo. The mini-vacation was wonderful, but as always, way too short. Max got to play in snow, we visited a bunch of our very loved and missed family members, and of course ate enough for an army. Poor Sammy was limited to baby food, but the rest of us, Max included, ate for 4 days straight.

The plane ride went well. We've figured out that it is best if Chris and I sit apart. Max sits with daddy and Sam with mommy. The plane ride home was a breeze. The in flight T.V. was wonderful; especially since the USA vs. Canada gold medal game was being broadcasted. This made Chris very happy!

Photos form our trip below......

Max watching movies with Charli.
Sammy trying on his snow attire.
Pretty girl.
Chris and Cindy.
Let the eating begin!
Grandpa and Grandma Hrusa.
Boys with their to lovely grandmas.
Aunt Jenny reading to Max. I'm guessing he only sat there for about 30 seconds,
Cuddling with Lizzie.
Playing in the snow.
He had a blast.
Peter working on the igloo that he and Chris built.
Poor Sammy and Charli--their faces are priceless.
Grandma Edith feeding Sammy.
The way Max says "Lizzie" is precious. He is becoming quite the talker.

Worker Man

I remember that as a child, my brother would say he wanted to be a "worker man" when he grew up. I always thought that was cute.

Here is Max being a "worker man" in the backyard.

The Hat

Max in the hat.
I leave the room for 30 seconds and Sammy is now wearing the hat.
After being forced to wear the hat, not to mention poked, squeezed, sat on, etc., he still loves his big brother. And big brother loves him.

Beach Boys

The weather here has been great. We recently made a trip to the beach for a few hours of fun. I packed extra clothes for Max, but neglected to bring Chris another pair of pants. The man seems to get soaked every time we go; I think he'll learn his lesson after having to drive home pant-less.

Typical Max; such a character
Sammy boy
I think Max is saying "Oh No"
He wasn't too happy back there
My men; minus the V-dog

Give him chalk

And this is what you'll get.We got Max an easel for his room. He loves it! I enjoy all the other places I find his chalk artwork....tile in the living room, the side of his bed, on Sammy and V-dogs head, the list is endless.

Baby Blues

Nope, I'm not depressed. The baby blues I'm referring to are these gorgeous eyes. (Please ignore the pile of spit up he is laying in :)
